PGCA Resources for Members, Families First Coronavirus Response Act Takes Effect, Posters Required

These are certainly unprecedented times, and I hope you know that Print & Graphic Communications Association has been working tirelessly to support you both in front of and behind the scenes.

First and foremost – I hope you are staying safe and healthy and caring for your family and employees to do the same.

PIAlliance has issued and distributed countless resources for you to use for your business, for your employees, and for you personally, including two webinars prepared by Ferrara Fiorenza PC, PIA’s Association Council, available on demand at piawebdev.wpengine.com/webinars/coronavirus-webinars/. We are also advocating on your behalf at the state and local level to have printing designated as an essential business in New York State so you can stay operational (NJ and PA have already designated print as an essential business).

Earlier today, we sent out an alert on applying for the Paycheck Protection Program. Today, April 1st is also the day that the Families First Coronavirus Response Act takes effect, download required posters here. The DOL has posted answers to frequently asked questions on the FFCRA, including how to notify teleworkers regarding the posting requirement.

If you have not been receiving our emails, please contact me at tfreeman@pia-backup.local so we can ensure you are on our list. Also, we have put additional materials on LinkedIn. Please log on to LinkedIn and connect with me so you can keep up with what is happening. Also, visit piawebdev.wpengine.com/ehs-solutions/coronavirus-resource-page/ for additional resources.

Your membership with PIAlliance also includes membership with our national association, Printing Industries of America, advocating at a federal level and continuing to provide education and other resources you can use in your business. SGIA, PIA and NAPCO Media have combined resources to establish a Covid-19 Resources channel, the industry go-to resource going forward on all things related to the pandemic. Visit piworld.com/extension/covid-19/.

On behalf of the PIAlliance Board of Directors and staff, we thank you for your continued membership, and we are here for you when you need us.

I have included my contact information below. We strive to be the first point of contact for any issue or problem with which you need assistance. This applies now and always. If nothing else, please just stay informed and utilize the resources we make available to you.
