Encouraging News Regarding NYS Sales Tax Exemption
The NYS Assembly released its Revenue bill today (June 27th) and the repeal of the exemption on printed promotional materials is NOT contained in it.  Nor is repeal in the Governor's Revenue bill.

While "nothing is over until it's over", this is encouraging news and we are "cautiously optimistic"  about the currently existing exemption being kept in place. The full Legislature is poised to meet tonight and again tomorrow.  We will keep you posted as further developments unfold.

For now, PIA's deepest thanks to all of you for your significant efforts on this issue!

One of the group participants, Assemblyman John Burzichelli, has also put out a video about the report. Contact Vicki Keenan at vkeenan@PIAlliance.org with any questions.
